• Plant marigold seeds around tomato and pepper/eggplant beds early, before transplanting starts
• Plant shelling peas and sugar snap peas, use trellis
• Plant radishes and carrots
• Plant cabbage, cauliflower, bok choy early
• Plant sunflowers further apart; fertilize heavily
• Plant onions early
